This issue of the magazine is the 500th. But no one will ever find two identical numbers of the Chief Accountant in the entire twenty-year history. Each one is unique, very valuable both for the editors and, we hope, for the readers.
Once the editorial staff consisted of only five people. The magazine came out once a month, was much smaller and printed on a different paper. Now Glavbukh is published more often, and not only on paper, but also in electronic form.
Not only each issue of the magazine is unique, but also the process of its birth. Almost 50 people work in the editorial office now. Sometimes we understand each other perfectly, sometimes we speak exclusively in professional language(see conversation on the right). And every two weeks in our office there is a whole spectacle in several acts. With their directors, directors, heroes. Everyone has their own role, and everyone has it - the main one.
The main work on the content of the journal, of course, lies with the editors and experts. But the magazine would never have come out if there were no proofreaders, typesetters, a designer, an executive secretary, marketers, an Internet project department, and many other workers on the invisible front (see later in the article).

In the office of the chief accountant of the Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant, Lyudmila Karpachova all year round orchids bloom. Bright, lush, amazing. They are here without counting. But only them. Everything else is taken into account and calculated. And from December 2, the flower beauty had a fabulous neighbor - the Fairy Chief Accountant, who holds accounting accounts in one hand. This is a small copy of the one that was installed two years ago in the capital's Sokolniki Park, becoming the main decoration of the "money garden", and is the only sculpture in Russia dedicated to accountants. The initiators of the installation, as well as the annual All-Russian competition the title of the best in the profession is the magazine "Glavbuh". The main Russian publication about financial science and about people working in this profession, every year holds a competition among aces - professionals whose names will be inscribed in red letters in the history of accounting. This year, according to Elena Chernysheva, editor-in-chief of the Glavbukh magazine, more than 11,000 people from all over the country took part in the competition for the title of the best.
The competition was huge! This competition is interesting because everyone in it has equal opportunity show my professionalism, demonstrate ambitions and make it clear to others: I am a true professional in my field, the best of the best. At the same time, the fame and brand of the company delegating the participant remains “overboard”, the connections “do not fit”, and luck and other attributes of success play absolutely no role: only knowledge and skills!
Throughout the year, the nominees performed creative tasks, wrote essays, solved professional tricky problems. You can follow your progress online. Lyudmila Karpacheva immediately entered the top ten, then moved to the top five, and closer to the finals she firmly established herself in the top three contenders for victory.
- More than 11 thousand accountants competed during the year, so it was difficult to make a choice, - explained Elena Chernysheva, editor-in-chief of the Glavbukh magazine, - and the rivals were worthy. Lyudmila Pavlovna constantly and actively participated in the performance of tasks, was one of the contenders for high results. And in the very final, she overtook a competitor who had been a leader for a long time. Her labor feat played a huge role: when we read an essay about how the chief accountant of the plant, Karpacheva, returned to the enterprise from tax service billion (!) rubles, there is no doubt - we have the brightest contestant in front of us. The jury unanimously voted for the representative of Lebedinsky GOK. As a result, we can state: the winner of the competition - the best accountant in Russia is working at LGOK! This is cool!
The editors of the Glavbukh magazine presented a prize statuette to Fairy Glavbukh and a certificate for 500 thousand rubles to Gubkin. And colleagues prepared a surprise for the winner: they organized a congratulation in a solemn atmosphere. By the way, preparations for it were carried out in strict secrecy, the details of the upcoming event were not disclosed until the last moment. But everything turned out sincerely and emotionally: at the end of the meeting, where the heads of the enterprise and its divisions and subsidiaries were present, the metropolitan delegation entered the hall with flowers and gifts and announced the verdict: “Lyudmila Karpacheva, chief accountant of Lebedinsky GOK, was recognized as the Chief Accountant of the Year of Russia!”
In response, the hero of the occasion said: “My whole life is connected with the Lebedinsky GOK - since I came here at the age of 18, I didn’t work anywhere else besides this enterprise. I think it's the best place where you can grow professionally and intellectually!”
Congratulating the “chief custodian of the Lebedinsky treasury”, the managing director of the plant, Oleg Mikhailov, noted: “This award fell into exactly the hands it was supposed to fall into!” Of course, employees of the accounting department of the enterprise are pleased with such a significant and significant (and, of course, well-deserved) award: “We are especially proud of the high professionalism of our wonderful leader. We sincerely congratulate Lyudmila Pavlovna on her victory!” - summed up the head of the accounting bureau Money, credits and loans Maria Kostyukova.
And the winner shared that the prize fund will be spent on arranging a playground in one of Gubkin's yards. The Fairy Chief Accountant as a fabulous Fairy will bring joy to the children. And that is great!
