Clothing and food markets in Antalya: Central, in Sharampol and Lara. Market prices

Another portion of answers to numerous questions about shopping. Where is the best place to buy? Is it worth it to buy things in Turkey? Where is sold in Turkey? How to trade? How to get to shopping centers? If there are markets or bazaars in Turkey? How much do things cost in Turkey? What currency to take with you for shopping in Turkey, but do they accept rubles there? Where to buy hygiene products and essentials in Turkey. I will try to answer these and other questions in this post.
Consider the popular and long-loved by our tourists Mediterranean coast of Turkey - the Antalya Riviera (Alanya, Antalya, Belek, Kemer, Side and the villages located around them). All of these areas are resorts for a long time, respectively, in addition to huge amount hotels, boarding houses and apartments there is also a myriad of shops, shops and shopping centers. But keep in mind that in any country where tourism has settled for a long time and for a long time, prices in the tourist area are many times higher and, of course, Turkey is no exception in this regard.
Therefore, dear ladies, understand that those Turkish things that are sold in Russia in shops and markets are not bought in the places where you plan to relax!
Basically, clothes from Turkey are bought at wholesale depots, factories and bazaars in Istanbul. From Anatalya and other Mediterranean resorts in Turkey to Istanbul, take a bus for about 10-12 hours or fly by plane for about 30 minutes. In Istanbul, combine grandiose shopping and see all the sights ancient city(and this is the former Constantinople - the capital of the Byzantine Empire) in ONE day is almost unrealistic. Of course, you can run around the Grand Bazaar (and this is not just the main and central market, but a whole mini-city), you can even have time to buy a few souvenirs and something else for the couple of hours that are allocated for visiting the Bazaar as part of a one-day excursions to Istanbul. But we are talking about full-fledged shopping! This is a leisurely shopping trip.
It is clear that you always want to combine business with pleasure. Having escaped on a long-awaited vacation, I really want to sunbathe and swim heartily in the sea during the day, in the evening without rushing anywhere, I want to go shopping with pleasure. So, there are several options for shopping in Turkey.

Shops in the hotel . Many 4 and all 5 star hotels have their own shops. They can buy all the essentials. The prices in them, of course, are inflated in proportion to the level of stars. This is due to the cost of renting a hotel. And the higher the level of the hotel, the higher the cost of renting a store, respectively, the more expensive the cost of goods in them. And, as a rule, guests of luxury hotels are less inclined to haggle and look for shops with more reasonable prices.
Cigarettes, pads, newspapers, souvenirs, diapers, camera film, shampoo, sun cream can be bought at the hotel, but, as a rule, are 3-4 times more expensive than in our homeland. If the store has all the goods with an electronic barcode, as we have in most supermarkets, then they have a “fixed price” (fixed prices, they are not traded here). If this is a small shop where the owner himself is behind the counter, then it’s a sin not to bargain. In the hotel you can and should bargain in souvenir shops, leather and fur, gold and jewelry
They also often ask about hammam and spa centers. Despite the fact that they have a compiled price list - bargain! Almost always, hamamists discount prices, especially if you are determined to visit a number of procedures.
I would like to dwell separately on shops that sell Turkish leather and furs, as well as on jewelry stores. Traders in them and in similar shops near the hotel vying with each other offer to take you to the factory in Antalya. Jewelry and leather factories in Antalya and nearby No !!! It is forbidden to build factories near Antalya. Eat large stores- factory offices in the city, close to the airport. Actually, in them, stores take goods for sale and offer to take you there if you have not chosen the right style or size for yourself. They offer a free shuttle service for you to view the products. And they get up to 30% from your purchase, which is why they try so hard to persuade you to go. The same applies to guides, they also receive a percentage of your purchases. In general, in Turkey, free cheese is only in a mousetrap. Therefore, think before agreeing to persuasion to go and see some goods and products for free.
How to be in such a situation? Only for Smart Tourists we can order a car from any representative office in Antalya. Smart Tourists are tourists who save wisely, i.e. not at the expense of quality, do not overpay for unnecessary services. Those percentages that shops and guides take for themselves, you keep for yourself. Naturally, you need to bargain. How to bargain about it will be below. The car is provided by specialized shopping centers themselves, this service costs $10 round-trip (paid to the driver on the way back). Our managers will help you to order a car, if you indicate that during the trip you want to visit any stores in the comments to the order. Why are we doing this for free? First of all, the loyalty of our smart tourists is important to us, and secondly, our managers (we also have a mostly female team who are not indifferent to shopping) are well versed in shopping in Turkey and know where real discounts are . For example, they compared last year: a sheepskin coat in Turkey, bought for $350, in Ufa cost $950. By the way, you can order home delivery.
What do most tourists from Turkey bring? This sweets(baklava, Turkish delight, pishmane) and souvenirs. It is useless to write about them, you need to try Often the guides offer to take a bus with tourists to the sweet factory on the way to the tour or on the way to the airport, they often make a stop at the Sorbet store. The quality in it, of course, is good, but the prices in it are high, and in duty free at the Airport everything is more expensive by 2 times. It is better to buy sweets and souvenirs in small specialized shops in the villages. They have a large selection, for every taste and color. Bargaining is a must
Smart tourists recommend buying sweets by weight, since sweets in ready-made boxes are often not the first freshness and the floor of the box can be an empty blende. And be sure to taste before you buy!
In 5 * hotels, once a week there is a Turkish night and a festive gala dinner, in the evening souvenir and sweets dealers usually come. Prices are usually reasonable, but the choice is not always large. You can buy a Turkish coffee set or a beautiful tea set, olive oil cosmetics, towels, jewelry, backgammon self made. But it is not profitable to buy hookahs, they are expensive, it is better to bring them from Egypt or Tunisia.
smart tourists recommend taking a walk and asking the price of souvenirs in the shops near the hotel, and then compare with the prices on the Turkish night.
Where is the best place to buy clothes in Turkey if you are not going to Istanbul? In Alanya, prices are quite reasonable, especially if you bargain well. If you are relaxing in the resort of Side, then it is better not in the city of Side itself, where the prices are completely “tourist”, but in the village of Managavt (at the same time you can visit the famous waterfall). There are many small quality shops in the village with a variety of clothes (shirts, dresses, jeans, t-shirts, etc.). If you are relaxing in the Belek resort, then in the village of the same name, prices can be said to be “cosmic”, because. in the neighborhood are some of the most expensive hotels in Turkey. It is better to get to the neighboring village of Kadriye (5 minutes from the center of Belek - “trains” or taxis go), everything is the same as in Belek, but cheaper by 1.5 times. It is difficult to answer unequivocally about the order of prices in Kemer, it happens in different ways. Actually in Turkey there is an unspoken rule, the more expensive hotels nearby, the higher the prices in the nearest stores. There are many inexpensive 3*, 4* hotels in Kemer, as well as expensive fashionable 5* hotels, so there are completely different shops. And yet, the most normal "non-tourist" prices in Antalya, because. local residents live there.
smart tourists for shopping on the Mediterranean coast recommend shopping centers in Antalya. The most promoted and largest "Migros", a little less, but there is a skating rink - "Deepo" and a fairly new "Laura". "Migros MM" is a large shopping center (reminiscent of the Ufa CTR "Mir" only more) is located in the Konialty district of Antalya closer to the Kemer resort. Dipo is located closer to the Belek-Antalya highway. And "Laura" is not as large as the previous ones, and there are not so many people there (probably like the "Ufa Department Store"), it is located closer to the center. You can get to shopping centers by bus (check with the staff for the route you need) or go to the car rental desk (“Rent url car”) at the hotel, often distributors organize a paid transfer to Migros.
Not all large shopping centers in Antalya accept dollars and euros, and even if they do, it is still more profitable to pay in Turkish lira. In principle, you can try to pay with rubles in small shops, but the rate will be extortionate.
Therefore, if you want to seriously engage in shopping, then start with a currency exchange at a favorable rate.
Tourists often ask about markets and bazaars. They, as a rule, take place in all villages on Tuesdays or Thursdays and work somewhere from 8-00 to 16-00, but mainly they sell food products, fresh vegetables, fruit and any consumer goods of poor quality. Therefore, if you are relaxing in a 5 * with good food, there is nothing to do in the bazaar
Cosmetics, diapers, shampoos, condoms, medicines, etc. can be bought at the pharmacy. There are pharmacies in all cities and towns. But prices in pharmacies are much higher than in Russia, and many brands we are used to are not on sale.
Recommended fair sex(unless, of course, you are going to relax in non-De Luxe hotels in Turkey) take shampoos, lotions and other beauty products with you.

How to trade and where can I do it? Where the price of a product is fixed and read by a barcode by a computer at the checkout, it is pointless to bargain, in all other cases it is necessary to bargain. Here is the most important process. Initially, the prices for all goods are too high. It will not be difficult to throw off 30%, 50% - this already needs to be tried. It is useless to bargain near each thing, they don’t take off like that. First, choose everything you like, then sit down with the owner / seller, you can drink tea or coffee with him, there is an exchange of courtesies. You say where you come from and what a wonderful country Turkey is, how you like it here and what wonderful souvenirs / furs / watches / earrings (underline as necessary) you chose, how you liked them, BUT you didn’t expect to spend THAT MUCH and you don’t even know what do. And here already there is a discussion of the price with a CUTE smile. STRONGLY stand your ground. For example, a product costs 100 USD, say how you liked it, you have been looking for so much and are ready to pick it up right now for 35 USD, the seller will say only for you and only today for 85 USD. Well, with the help of patience and perseverance, you can negotiate up to 50 USD.
Happy holidays and great shopping!

The clothing markets of Antalya certainly deserve attention, because in addition to clothes there are a lot of different goods: household goods, household chemicals, shoes, textiles, household chemicals, various spices and other goods. In the market, which is located in the Liman district, it is worth visiting the Breeze girls and Cichlid branded children's clothing store. The assortment here is very diverse, the quality is decent, and the prices are low. There are clothes for boys and girls, for children different ages. Also, when visiting the markets, do not forget that for foreigners the price is decently inflated. Therefore, visiting markets and bazaars, bargaining is prerequisite, and also be vigilant, because often a gaping tourist can be cheated, that is, count the change. It is problematic to determine the amount of money that you need to take with you when going shopping, because everyone has their own appetites. As for the prices of the goods themselves, they are constantly changing here, however, like the assortment, it all depends on the season. Many tourists are aware that many shopping centers in Antalya offer discounts and sales, so they prefer to visit these places for shopping. Although in the markets, and not only clothing, but also in food, discounts are not a new phenomenon. Markets in Turkey often wander around the districts, and each work once a week. Therefore, it is worth knowing in advance which market will be in your area today.

Antalya Central Market is a market that sells clothes and food. The quality of things is high, as well as the most pronounced flavor of the eastern market. Many sellers are dressed in national clothes and you can buy a lot of Turkish-made things: scarves, jewelry, hookahs, spices, sweets, teas and more. At the same time, the prices for the listed goods are much lower than in stores and supermarkets, and the quality is excellent. In the central market, craftsmen show their products to everyone's attention and sell them. Tourists from many countries come here to buy leather goods, which Turkish craftsmen are so famous for. At an affordable price, you can also buy items made of silver and gold. Be sure to visit the food stalls, they sell all kinds of delicacies, as well as oriental sweets, such as: baklava, halva, Turkish delight, various Turkish pastries. And I can’t imagine how to get around such colorful rows of fruits, especially attractive are the rows where they sell spices, herbs, nuts, dried fruits, coffee and teas.

One of the most colorful markets in Antalya can be called the market in Altinkum. Here they sell food products, the choice of clothes and its range is large, other goods are also presented at the choice of buyers. The market is located in the Altinkum district, close to the Gursu district. This market is open to visitors every Friday.

The clothing market boasts an assortment of women's and men's clothing, you can also reasonable prices buy children's clothes. Also on sale there are things for newborns and pregnant women. Very big choice underwear, nightgowns, pajamas, both for adults and for the little ones.

For men, business and sportswear is on sale. Pleases and the lineup, which are presented on the market, prices for the entire range and the availability of a wide dimensional grid for selection. If the purpose of your purchase is beach accessories: swimwear, caps, hats, glasses, slates, etc., then in this market you will find all this in great abundance. You can also buy bath and beach towels, toys, colorful bed sheets, bijouterie. Another attractive feature of the market is that the prices here are not so inflated, since it is located in an area in which the local population make their purchases, tourists from Russia are rarely seen there. It is worth adding that there are often sales and various promotions on the market in Altinkum. So, for example, the cost of a towel: if you buy one, then it will cost you five liras, and if you take three, you can get them for ten liras. Walking along the rows where clothes are sold, you should pay attention to signs with prices and discounts.

There are also more modest markets, for example, the market in Konialti. The market is open only on Tuesdays, the market has everything you need. It is better to come to the market by ten o'clock, not earlier, but not later than lunch. If you come here in the morning, then many of the sellers will not have prices yet, and you will have to specify what and how much it costs. IN Lately more people in the market, the market has become more popular. Toward evening, sellers begin to reduce prices for perishable products, but there will not be so much choice. Here you can also buy clothes for adults and children, kitchen utensils, shoes and other useful purchases at competitive prices.

Today we were at the largest market in Antalya (along with), which is open every Saturday in Lara, and we want to talk about it.

I already wrote about the feature - nomadic markets in Antalya. Each of them has a special place (usually a shed), but they work on certain days of the week. Merchants, on the other hand, move from one place to another every day.

Today I met some sellers of fish and cheese-olives I know, and on Tuesdays they trade with us. Personally, I don’t really like such a system, it would be more convenient to have a constantly working market nearby, rather than buying stocks for a week. In other respects, this is not a problem, especially since in Konyaalti, next to us, I know at least 4 markets on different days , and by car it takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get to anyone, and soon it will open new market in Hurma.

Interestingly, the market in Lara is considered the largest in Antalya, but it is not located in a specially prepared place, but simply on the streets, unlike other markets that I know. In fact, the range of products here is no more than in other places, and if more, then not much. What is really more, so it is things. The choice is large. What I like is that you can buy things very cheaply, but what I don’t like is that in order to choose something good, you need to look for a long time, since basically things are very cheap and the quality is correspondingly not very good. But if shopping is a pleasure for you, then the market is what you need. In the markets in Antalya, you can buy a good T-shirt for 5-10 liras, jeans for 20-30 liras, a sweater for 10-20 liras, etc. The same things in stores, as a rule, cost twice as much. You can bargain a little, but don't wait big discounts and the prices are so low.

An interesting feature, it is here, in my opinion, that there are most sellers of fake cheap perfume. Rogue-looking men, as a rule, easily determine nationality by appearance and offer to buy perfume potential buyers in their language, we were always addressed in Russian. When they saw that I was taking pictures of them, they began to resent, one, however, calmed down when he saw that I was not a Turk. That's about all I wanted to say. I tried to photograph counters with price tags. Who are interested in prices on the market in Lara - see the pictures, if you don't have what you are interested in - ask. I advise you to eat delicious gozleme after shopping, who does not know, this is a national Turkish dish - a tortilla with stuffing. I like it better with spinach, and you?

Video about the market in Lara:

Advice for tourists : often there are situations when there is no local money at hand and you have to pay in dollars or euros, relying on the fact that sellers will correctly calculate the exchange rate of this currency for local lira and will not deceive you. But, as you understand, the temptation is great and it happens that the sellers are deliberately mistaken, or, realizing that you are a foreigner, they significantly overestimate the price.

So, if you feel some kind of trick or deceit when paying (by the way, the price tags for products on the market should be in without fail exhibited according to Turkish laws), you can refer to the house with the inscription ZABITA. Sometimes this is not a house, but a car that is always on duty in the market. No, this is not a service of forgotten things, this is security, which is always present to maintain order. The Turkish government has been very sensitive to the safety of tourism in recent years, so if you complain about a negligent seller in English (as a rule, the guards understand and speak) or, with someone's help, in Turkish, this peace officer will be obliged to take action and help you ruin the situation.

HOW TO GET TO: the market in Lara from the center of Antalya can be reached by the 8th or 6th bus. It is located next to shopping malls.

There are many things in Turkey worthy of attention of visitors, but shopping is a remarkable and exciting part of the local holiday. Very often, tourists come to Antalya (some even settle here) because of the abundance of local inexpensive goods.

When going to the markets in Antalya, do not forget that the weather is most often hot in Turkey, so it is better to go to the markets early in the morning, as you will have to be on your feet for several hours, and when it gets hot, you will have to return to the hotel.

Goods that are sold in different markets differ in price, quality, and assortment. For example, in Liman (a district of Antalya), vegetables and fruits are more expensive than in Gursu and Altinkum, since these neighboring areas are little visited by tourists, mostly Turks live here. In addition, food prices depend on the season. The most expensive here in the summer because of the abundance of visitors, and in the fall and spring, food and related products are getting cheaper.

In addition to products, clothing markets in Antalya are also worthy of attention, where there are a lot of all kinds of goods: household goods, inexpensive clothes of good quality, household chemicals, dishes, textiles, shoes, various spices, children's toys and more.

If you are in the market in the Liman district, you should pay attention to the Cichlid and Breeze girls branded children's clothing store. There is a wide range, decent quality and low prices. There are boys' and girls' clothes for different ages.

And the tourist should not forget about such local "hospitality" as overpricing for foreigners. Therefore, in the markets you should always bargain. In addition, some dishonest sellers of vegetable and fruit stalls cheat buyers. Therefore, be careful, count and check the change, buying in the market.

When you visit the markets in Antalya, pay attention to Antalya cheeses - they are fresh, natural, without all kinds of additives that are typical for modern European cheese production. Cheeses in Turkey are most often sold by weight. Prices vary depending on the type. Since there are so many types, any cheese you choose will definitely be given a try. By the way, do not hesitate to taste the product before buying, as local cheeses are very specific, unlike the Russian ones we are used to.
If you are going to Antalya for a resort, or plan to stay here for a month or two, you should find out what is sold in local markets and what is offered exclusively by shops and shopping centers.

For example, in the markets of Antalya you will not find meat. Russian tourists are surprised, because we are used to seeing meat stalls in the markets. But in Turkey, meat is sold only in special Kasap stores (Kasap), in large supermarkets and shopping centers. Do you want to find the meat department with good choice different types of meat, go to "Migros", "Shock", "Tansash" or "Bim". There meat products are always fresh and a large assortment.

How much money do you need to take on average when going shopping at clothing markets in Antalya? Finding information regarding goods and prices is not a problem, but it is difficult to find fresh and reliable information. Prices for goods here change all the time, and the range too, depending on the season.

Tourists know that Antalya stores often offer discounts and arrange sales. Similarly, in the markets, both clothing and grocery, a similar phenomenon is not uncommon.

Markets in Turkey often wander around the districts, each of them is open once a week. Therefore, on the day when the trade will be conducted in your area, you should try to buy everything you need for a week.

Which markets in Antalya work on the days of the week

Antalya: Central Market

This is an indoor market, they sell both products and things. The quality of things is high, and the flavor of the eastern market is most pronounced. Many sellers in national clothes, a lot of things of Turkish production are sold: hookahs, sweets, scarves, jewelry, spices, teas.
The prices for these goods are significantly lower than in supermarkets and shops, and the quality is excellent. Here on central market, craftsmen sell their products. Tourists from many countries come to buy the leather goods that Turkish craftsmen are famous for. You can buy jewelry made of gold and silver quite cheaply.

A variety of local delicacies and oriental sweets are sold in the food stalls: halva, baklava, Turkish delight, honey, various Turkish pastries.
It is impossible to ignore the colorful rows of fruits and, especially, the rows of spices, nuts, dried fruits, herbs, coffee and teas.

Market in Altinkum on Fridays

This is one of the most colorful markets in Antalya. It sells food, a wide range of clothing and other goods. It is located in Altinkum district near Gursu district. This market is open to visitors on Fridays.

The assortment of food products is huge, especially vegetables and fruits: potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, cherries, strawberries, watermelons and much more. It is noteworthy that all vegetables and fruits are cheaper than, for example, in Liman at the local market. Also at the bazaar you can buy several types of honey, all kinds of seasonings, sauces, spices, herbs, cheeses, fish, eggs, olives and more.

At the clothing market in Altinkum (Antalya) they sell women's, men's, children's clothes for quite low prices. There are also items for pregnant women and newborns. A very large assortment of linen, pajamas, nightgowns, both for adults and for kids.

For men there is business and sportswear. I am pleased with the model range, the price range and the presence of a wide dimensional grid.

We would like to note that if you need swimwear and other beach accessories (hats, caps, slates, glasses, etc.), then this bazaar has all this in great abundance. They also sell beach and bath towels, colorful bedding, toys, jewelry.

Another attractive feature of this market is that the prices here are not too high, because, as it is located in an area where mostly locals are bought, you will not often meet Russian tourists there.

And finally, let's add, speaking about the market in Altinkum: there are always sales and promotions. For example, the price of towels: one costs 5 lira, and if you take three, they give it for 10 lira. Walking through the malls with things, pay attention to the signs with prices and discounts.

Market in Konialti (Liman)

This market operates on Tuesdays. This is a more modest market than the markets in Sharampol and Lara, but it has everything you need.

It is better to come to the market by 10-11 o'clock, not earlier, but not later than lunch. If you come in the morning, then many sellers will not have prices written yet, and you will need to figure out what is how much. In the afternoon, the market is very crowded and noisy, everyone is pushing and crowding. In the late afternoon, when the closing time of the bazaar approaches, sellers reduce prices for perishable products, but the choice will not be so rich.

The Konialti market also sells clothes for adults and children, shoes, kitchen utensils, fish, spices, dairy products, and sweets.

Market in Sharampol (Charshamba Bazaar)

Sharampol market is an interesting and colorful Turkish bazaar. If you want to see with your own eyes what cheap Turkish shopping looks like, you should definitely go there.

Usually there is a huge crowd of people, a lot of transport, almost always there are no free parking spaces. The bazaar presents the same range of goods as in other clothing markets: from textiles to food and household goods.

Sharampol is a large and at the same time cheap bazaar, not often visited by tourists for the purpose of shopping. It is located at the intersection of Sokullu and Şarampol streets in the center of Antalya and is open on Wednesdays.

The market is built on two levels. The lower floor is reserved for food trade: fruits, sweets, vegetables, spices, etc. The second floor is for clothing trade: clothes, jewelry, bags, sunglasses, shoes, bed linen and household goods. Tourists in the market can rarely be found, mostly residents of the city.

Compared to other markets, this one has the same range of products, but there are a lot more things and prices are lower.

For example, tomatoes can be sold here for 50 kurush, and in other markets at this time - for 1-1.5 lira. The maximum prices for things range from 10 to 15 lire.
- jewelry - 1-2 lira,
- T-shirts and T-shirts - from 2.5,
- belts and shoes - from 5 lire,
- women's summer blouses for an average of 7 lire,
- pants for 10 lire,
- points - 5 lire,
- tablecloths on the table - 5 lire.

A huge selection of women's dresses, skirts, sundresses, and all this for up to 10 lire. It's a big market with a wide variety, but the quality of the stuff leaves a lot to be desired, you have to dig around to find something really good.

By the way, who else may be interested in Sharampol is lovers of antiques and antiques. Often here you can find old wood products, antique figurines, glassware and clay.

How to get to Sharampol market? Tourists travel by rented or their own car, bus or tram. From the city beach to the market can be reached on foot. Climb up st. Şarampol, and at the intersection with st. Sokullu turn right and you will go straight to Sharampol.

Dolmush No. 7 runs from the Liman district to Sharampol. From Kemer you need to go with a change at the 5th Migros to dolmush No. 502. This dolmush comes from Beldibi, you can also go from there.
You need to ask the driver: where to get off at Charshamba Bazaar? Getting off the bus in the direction is difficult to make a mistake: the main flow of people is moving towards the market. The market itself is crowded and noisy, it is somewhat reminiscent of the old Soviet flea markets, so be careful and take care of your wallets.

Spices and seasonings in Turkish markets

In Antalya, fragrant herbs, spices and spices can be found in specialized spice shops and in all large markets, as well as in outlets in the markets. One of the most popular stores specializing in spices is called "Baharat" (translated into Russian - spices-spices). Here, in large assortment spices, oriental sweets, teas, nuts are presented.

By the way, in order to taste local spices, it is not at all necessary to look for a specialized store. Herbs, spices and seasonings are available in every market. In Turkey, you can find a huge selection of spices from different countries and local origin. In addition, these departments sell propolis and natural honey, healthy herbal teas, sweet dried fruits, and a huge range of medicinal oils. Some of these shops also stock natural soaps and organic cosmetics.

What's the cost?

The Turkish lira is equal to approximately 17 Russian rubles. In the markets, sellers take both lira and dollars, but at an unfavorable rate for tourists, so it is better to change money in banks.

Prices for clothes in different markets are practically the same. T-shirts for 5-10 liras, sweatpants from 9-15 liras, prices for shoes start from 5 liras.

By the way, right in any market you can buy a bag on wheels for 20 lira. A very convenient and practical thing to buy at the market.

Products in the Central Market are slightly more expensive than in the markets of Charampol and Lara. Here are the prices for some products:
- onion - 0.75 lira/kg;
- potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers - about 1 lira / kg;
- carrots - 2 liras / kg;
- corn - 1 lira/cob;

It is advisable to take a room as high as possible and with a sea view. 1 main building, 8 residential floors, 6 elevators. The rooms look good for the age of the hotel, but the carpet is stained. The bathroom is shared, there is a bath, the toilet is combined with a bidet. Accessories in the form of cotton pads, cotton swabs, caps, shampoo and shower gel were replenished regularly. Towels came across torn and rather shabby. Give two pairs of disposable slippers, regardless of the number of residents. The TV is flat, shows channels in Russian, German and English, and local ones. The room was not cleaned well, used towels, not beach towels, were changed only if they were left on the floor. They left tips, but I see no reason to leave them - the zeal did not appear. There is a free safe in the room, there were no instructions for it in the room, we figured it out ourselves, it worked properly. Central air conditioning. The temperature is adjustable, the speed is also cooled well. Tea and coffee accessories - there is a kettle, paper cups, tea different kind, coffee, cream, sugar, stirring sticks. Replenished in a timely manner. Free mini bar - 1 bottle of ordinary water 0.5 liters, 2 mineral waters 0.25, 1 cola 0.33 and 1 juice with a straw.

The territory is large, green and well-groomed, 3 outdoor pools from the hotel to the beach, one of them for children with a smooth entrance and waves from 16.00 to 16.30, there is another 1 indoor one with a hammam and a sauna.
There are 2 tennis courts with battered surfaces. Basketball court. Volleyball court on the beach. Still on the territory there are high (4-5 floors) water slides 3 combined and 3 more separate, 2 of which are screw, and one of them always did not work. Open from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There is a swimming pool with jacuzzi between the hotel building and the kids club. There is a decent playground, a sports field with exercise equipment and two for playing boccia,
We found a cage with parrots next to the playground with one Karella and two budgerigars. For vacationers, about 50% are Turks, no more than 5% are Europeans, the rest are Russians and the CIS. Ukrainians all preferred to keep apart, they spoke only Russian to us - they did not understand why Donetsk did not want to live with them in Ukraine and was striving for Russia.

The food is varied, there is always a place where to eat. In the main restaurant, you can choose from rice, french fries, pasta, meat, usually fried and boiled - chicken, beef, specialty Turkish cutlets, fish with a mountain of small bones, several types of salads, ham and sausage. The first for breakfast-lunch-dinner is always there. They bake delicious pancakes. Not all dishes are signed. From fruits, watermelons and melons, apples, plums, peaches, nectarines, apricots, oranges. We ate cherry plum several times. Lots of desserts. There is a separate distribution for baby food, there is a dietary table. Ice cream next to the beach from 12.30 to 15.30 without restrictions. Local wine to choose from red, rose and white semi-dry, plus beer. Drinks sprite, cola, fanta, iced tea and schweppes in bars and restaurants, diluted “juices” (pineapple, orange, apple and cherry) are freely available from coolers. There are coffee machines with several types of coffee, hot milk, chocolate. There are also kettles with Turkish tea, fruit bags and hot water boilers. Along with porcelain and glass cups, there are also paper cups in restaurants and bars. Cold water is available from refrigerators throughout the hotel. But there are Bars by the pool, on the beach and in the lobby. In the bars, only local wines, vodka, crayfish, whiskey, Baileys, tequila - quality as always. Children cola, sprite, fanta. Airan is everywhere. During the day, you can have a snack at the pool bar - burgers, chicken type in breadcrumbs, pasta, french fries, greens and salads. Also, next to this bar they bake cakes with cheese and potatoes). Alacarte restaurants on the ground floor, two types of free fish and Turkish to choose from, you can only once for free for the entire stay. They work on different days. Registration is strictly the day before the visit at 9 am at the guest relations department (next to the reception). We visited Turkish on my wife's birthday with a cake and takeaway. Quite uncomfortable shabby lobby bar. Always queues, not enough seats, terrible furniture, empty aquarium.

Mostly the weather was wonderful, the sea was comfortable cool. The water in the pools was clean, warm and, as always, with the smell of bleach. The entrance to the sea is small pebbles (a strip of about 2 meters along the water), quite noticeable for the feet without special slippers. The depth increases quickly, literally 5 meters from the shore and already more than 1 meter. The water is cloudy, there was garbage, but no algae. At the transition between the pebbles and the sandy bottom, a lot of small fish scurry right between the legs of tourists, crabs chase. The bottom is monotonous, without anything interesting. The beach and the bottom are sand, while in the sun the sand on the beach is so hot that it was impossible to walk along it without shoes. Dirty sunbeds on the beach and by the pools. We came to the sea around 8 in the morning, and only then did the employees come and sweep the adhering sand from the mattresses. The tables were not washed at all, old stains from juices and cigarettes were eaten into the plastic. Garbage pots. There are always 2 security guards on the beach, 1-2 at the entrance to the hotel. There are security cameras everywhere. 1 lifeguard on the beach, 2 near the slides up and down. In the pools, everything is under the control of the vacationers themselves, but when the waves in the children's pool are turned on, the lifeguard from the slides goes there. The beach and pools are equipped with sun loungers with a mattress and umbrellas. There was a shortage of sun loungers and umbrellas in the first week at the pool, and on the beach under awnings after 8 o’clock you can’t find a place. There are free open areas, but after 10 am the sun begins to fry unbearably. It is already problematic to find a place on the pontoon at 6 in the morning; even before sunrise, enterprising tourists occupy all the places.

During the day, animation takes place at the main pool (gymnastics, water polo, competitions), not to say that there are many participants, but there are, we were only passive observers.
In the evening, a children's disco from 21.15 to 21.45, then performances. The hotel does not have its own artists, guest groups perform. The performances are of a good standard, various programs are mainly in English, there were several shows with acrobats, bingo, Turkish night, etc., in 4 weeks there were three repetitions in the last week. After the performance, live music with guest musicians at the beach bar. We did not visit the disco, there seems to be no night club on the territory. The kids at the beach bar enjoyed catching marble bugs in the evenings.
Problems with knowledge of the Russian language among the hotel staff. It is difficult communication with the maids, at the bar and even at the reception. About Russian, I generally keep quiet. Smoking throughout the hotel. The Turks are especially distinguished, who generally do not care about children and others, smoke in open restaurant, by the pools, on the beach, in the amphitheater during the show. Despite a bunch of children around and non-smokers in principle.

It can be seen that the hotel is already tired. Everywhere you look, there needs to be repaired, tinted there. Some palm trees have died, the flowers have withered, but they are trying to plant new ones little by little. A huge plus of the hotel is the beach and proximity to Antalya.
You can still go back to Kervan!
