Find out what happened to Leonora Johnson.

In 1975, a terrible crime happened in San Andreas - a young actress Leonora Johnson was killed. The investigation did not bring results, so the perpetrator remained at large. However, he made a mistake: he wrote a letter in which he confessed to his deed. The addressee of the message was the then-famous filmmaker David Richards, the father of Solomon Richards, familiar to you from the plot of the game. Since David was a close friend of the killer, he did not reveal his secret.

If your smartphone or tablet running Android, iOS, Windows Phone or PS Vita has the iFruit application installed, then Franklin's dog Chop, after training, can help the hero in his search. But honestly, it's not worth it. Ours with marked location of each snippet, screenshots and descriptions will be more useful. And in the game, you will also hear the rustle of paper when you get close to any of the pieces of the letter.

By putting the fragments together, you can read the killer's confession. The original text and translation into Russian are taken from the resources of the game:

My dear David!

I know my "little pranks" - as the French would call them - hurt you. But understand, all this is just pranks. I totally agree with you - my actions were a bit inhumane. But this is good. After all, inhumanity is a slogan, it is a bargaining chip, it is the very life of an artist! My inhumanity makes me human. Thanks to this, I can simultaneously act from the position of both a sinner and a creator. I had to kill her - and moreover, in this way. The only way I could experience the greatest torment was slowly torturing her and then sending her family small mementos of our date.

And since then, several times I had to inflict new suffering on her relatives - just to prove to myself that I, an artist, subtly feel suffering and can express it in art. Wouldn't it be better for one family to suffer so that the rest of the world can enjoy its suffering, learn from it, and be redeemed through my masterpieces? Don't bother answering this question. The answer is obvious, and if not, then I was wrong about you.

But let's not waste time on such trifles. We are artists, my friend, the last of the Mohicans. I think with horror of the day when you will finally retire and Solomon will take over the reins. I love the kid, but he's just an insensitive day laborer, he doesn't have your passion, your creativity. He's just a pathetic moralizer in the body of a Vinewood decadent.

He doesn't understand our motives at all. We do this not because we can, but because we must. That's the whole point. Some people in this city are abusing their position, as if sleeping with a lot of girls, torturing fellow passengers, or eating dogs is fun. It's horrible. I do this kind of stuff just to gain experience - to give my art meaning and depth. I hope you know this.

I dream that you read it as soon as possible new edition Lear Premiere. I finally got rid of all the clichés that ruined Shakespeare's play, and the script gained strength and rhythm - and what we talked about on that beautiful night in Mexico when we paid whores to cut each other. I hope you and Rachel have reached an understanding by now. I dream of inviting you again on Friday for dinner. You have always been an inspiration to me.

Your devoted friend
Dreyfus

March 15th, 1975
ATTN; David Richards

Listen, I know you’re a little offended by your discovery of my ‘petit indiscretion’ as the French would say, but I want you to understand – that’s all it is – a little indiscretion. I agree wholeheartedly with you - my actions were a little inhumane. But that's not a bad thing. Inhumanity is the very watchword, the very currency, the very life blood of the artist! My inhumanity makes me human. It’s thanks to my inhumanity that I’m able to speak to people with the moral authority of the sinner and the creator, all at once. I had to kill her. And I had to do it in that way. The way that would hurt me most – by torturing her slowly and painfully, then sending momentos from our date to her family.

And in the years since, I've had to, at times, goad her family into further suffering. Just to prove how very much I understand suffering and how I can represent it best as an artist – isn’t it better that one family suffers so the world can be free to enjoy, to learn and to be cleansed by my masterpieces? Don't even bother answering that. The answer is obvious and if you get it wrong, well, then you're less of a man than I thought.

But let us not concern ourselves with such trivialities – we are artists, my friend. The last of a dying breed. I dread the day when you finally retire and Solomon takes over – sure I love the kid but he’s a remorseless hack with none of your passion, your creative zeal. He's a weak livered moralizer hiding in the body of a Vinewood decadent.

He understands nothing about why we act as we do! Not because we can, but because we must. And that's the thing. Some people take advantage of their position in this town for pleasure – as if sleeping with multiple young girls, or torturing hitchhikers or eating dogs could ever be fun? It's awful. I only do it to experience it so my art is truer, deeper, more meaningful, and I believe you know that.

In mid-January 1975, a young Vinewood movie star, Leonora Johnson, visits Land-Ect-Dam. The corpse was mutilated, and the murder caused a significant public outcry, however, the crime was never solved.

On the gaming Internet, you can find the site whokilledleonorajohnson.com, created by a certain Jeff Campion. Here you can get acquainted with the biography of the actress and the materials of the case, as well as with the list of candidates for the role of the killer, each of whom, according to the author of the site, could, for one reason or another, brutally deal with the starlet. It is noteworthy that Mr. Campion himself is included in this list.

There is also an entry on the site stating that the existence of a letter containing a confession to the murder of a young Miss Johnson has been confirmed. The report says that Ira Richards, the son of renowned film producer Solomon Richards, said in a recent interview that his grandfather, David Richards, once got very drunk and chatted something about a written confession to this crime, one of the most notorious cases of the second half of the 20th century. th century. According to him, the letter was torn to shreds and hidden in various places throughout Los Santos in the late 70s of the last century. This is also confirmed by the article “New Evidence in the Leonora Johnson Case” of the Daily Globe, which can be found in the “News of the Day” section of the Eyefinder search engine.

You can collect scraps of a letter in any character from the very beginning of the game. They look like ordinary sheets of paper. The developers took care to make it easier to search - parts of the letter glow, so they are clearly visible even from a distance, and when you approach them, you will hear a soft rustle of paper. Only by collecting all the scraps, you can shed light on 40 years ago and find out who killed Leonora Johnson.

Fragment 11

This fragment is located in the canal that runs from the boat dock to the Vespucci canals, on a long gallery along Palomino Avenue. It was through this channel that Michael and his daughter Tracy rode on a jet ski in the story mission "" (Daddy's Little Girl). You can get here by water, or by land transport to the bridge, and then just go down the nearest stairs.

Fragment 12

Another fragment of the letter should be looked for at the Del Perro pier. On the right side at the very end of the pier there is a restaurant "Perls", on the balcony of which lies a piece. To get to the balcony, you need to climb the stairs of the neighboring building, and then go through the open gallery to the balcony of the restaurant. A piece of the letter lies near the tables with blue umbrellas.

Fragment 13

There are arched openings on the bridge along Vespucci Boulevard. A fragment of the letter is in one of them, which is located right at the exit to Popular Street above the canal.

Fragment 14

There are 50 pieces of paper scattered throughout the map of Los Santos. These fragments are fragments of a letter of confession. Finding them won't be easy, but if you do, you'll find Leonora Johnson's killer. Intrigued? To help players collect all the pieces and identify the killer, we have compiled a list of locations where everything, even the most intricately hidden pieces, is located.
