Air carrier rates. Aeroflot Flight School: training center

At the beginning of the training course at the flight school consisted of two stages. At the first stage, training took place at the Ulyanovsk Higher Aviation School with a degree in Flight Operation aircraft". Studied there for 1.5 years. In the second stage, training was already underway at the Aeroflot school itself on a contract basis for 6 months. If studying at the school was supposed to be free, then at school you had to pay for education, for this the company issued a targeted loan in the amount of the cost of studying. The contract with the student provided that after graduating from the flight school he would work for Aeroflot for 5 years, while he would be deducted money from his salary to repay the loan. But this program failed because the airlines failed to resolve the issue of budget financing by the state to pay for tuition at the first stage.

The average salary of a co-pilot at Aeroflot is an average of 250,000 rubles. Therefore, it will not be difficult to pay off a target loan allocated for studying at a flight school.
In 2013, flight training at Aeroflot consisted of two parts. Initial training took place at an accredited flight center in Florida, USA and took approximately 4.5 months. The course cost $55,000, and this does not include the cost of flights, visas and meals. After training, the students took two exams - for flight training and for the theoretical program. pupil after successful delivery exams received an American standard pilot's license. Training in the second part took place directly on the basis of the Aeroflot flight school. Here they taught the basics of piloting a particular A320 aircraft. The study took 6-7 months and cost about $30,000.

Admission to Aeroflot flight school

It is easy to guess which profession is the most romantic for girls - of course, this is a stewardess or, it would be more correct to say, a flight attendant. Smiling beauties in a strict uniform cause adoration in men and envy in girls.

Many young girls are thinking about becoming an air conductor. But this profession is not taught at the university or institute. Therefore, a logical question arises: "The specialty" stewardess "- what is needed for admission, and most importantly, where do you need to go?" What do girls learn during courses for flight attendants, how much can they earn? What does it take to become a flight attendant in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan? Let's discuss this topic In this article.

girl in the sky

Before proceeding directly to the training opportunities, it should be noted that not everyone can become a flight attendant. There are quite strict requirements for the selection of young ladies to work in heaven. Meanwhile, if you really want to be a flight attendant, and after reading the post, soberly assess your capabilities as small, do not be upset. If you have ever traveled by air, then you might have noticed that chiseled girls do not always work on board - they are found among stewardesses and robust women, and ladies over 30 years old.

In any case, you need to look online for vacancies among airlines and send your resume. So, the job of a "stewardess" - what is needed for admission and where? Let's start with appearance.

Don't drink water from your face

What does it take to become a flight attendant? There is no one hundred percent correct answer, and yet appearance is, although not decisive, but very important. Most often, airlines select girls between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five with such a height that it is convenient to reach the luggage rack (that is, not lower than 165 centimeters). In addition, the appearance of the girl should be pretty. You will not be hired as a flight attendant if you have visible tattoos, facial piercings, even large moles, or a short, boyish haircut or a very bright, unnatural hair color may prevent you from becoming a flight attendant. Tattoos are not welcome. Separately, it must be said about weight. So, preference is given to fragile girls up to 60 kilograms. Airlines just don't make plus size uniforms, and besides, curvy flight attendants will be cramped between rows in economy class.

And another logical explanation for why the airline is likely to refuse a girl weighing more than 64 kilograms - such a weight is associated with health problems. But again, there are exceptions.

I would go to the stewardess, let them teach me!

You meticulously assessed your external data and concluded that you would make a first-class stewardess. What is required for admission?

So, the second important factor, because of which more than half of those who want to become a flight attendant are eliminated, is health. The stewardess needs to withstand significant overloads, and external beauty no longer plays a predominant role here. After all, the flight attendant has to change time and climate zones almost several times a day, endure pressure drops. If you have problems in the work of the cardiovascular, nervous systems, then doctors will weed you out without a twinge of conscience.

Once you have passed all the fairly traditional tests and examinations, you will also need to pass the turbulence test.

A little about nerves

A healthy nervous system is another thing you need for admission to a flight attendant. After you undergo a medical examination, you will also need to undergo special psychological testing. After all, it is the flight attendant who is responsible for the health and emotional state of passengers. We all want everything to be fine, which is why a flight attendant needs to know from A to Z what to do in an emergency.

During a psychological examination, it is revealed how stable the girl is in her behavior, stress tolerance thresholds, and general emotional state.

What does it take to become a flight attendant in terms of psychological state?

So, you have every chance of becoming a flight attendant if you are a disciplined person with good organizational skills. You must be responsible, easily and quickly navigate in an unusual and non-standard environment, quite balanced. No need to think that the stewardess is just serving drinks and smiling at passengers flying south. In unforeseen situations (or rather, just the opposite, all situations are foreseen in advance and played out during training), the life of one or more passengers may depend on the actions of the flight attendant.

Education and language skills

The flight attendant's speech should be well-delivered, with excellent diction. However, if you do not have experience in public speaking, it's okay - it is being developed.

And, of course, the stewardess must speak English at a sufficient level (however, the level will be enough). Your word of honor that you know the language will not be enough - future flight attendants must pass a test where you need to translate the text and show knowledge of grammar.

What education should a future flight attendant receive? What you need for admission is either an average or higher education. Preference is given to girls with a medical, managerial education. True, your diploma will not play a decisive role. Don't forget your passport - international flights will require one.

What does the future stewardess study?

What is needed for admission, we have already figured out. And what do they teach a flight attendant to make her feel easy and confident in heaven?

Of course, first of all, ensuring the safety of passengers falls on the shoulders of flight attendants. What to do in the event of an emergency landing on land or water? What to do if a tipsy passenger starts to misbehave if someone reports that there is a bomb on board? Girls must quickly and correctly navigate in any situation.

In addition, it should be noted that the work of flight attendants is in many ways akin to If you have ever flown with meals, then you might have noticed that for about an hour the flight attendants move in a narrow aisle with a cart, serving passengers. Therefore, flight attendants are trained in the basics of serving, serving food.

Flight attendants must also have an idea of the places they visit, so short course flight attendants undergo regional studies, where they get acquainted with the political and cultural characteristics of states.

What does the course of study consist of?

We figured out what it takes to become a flight attendant. In Ukraine and Russia, the rules are, in principle, standard. How is the educational plan built?

The courses last three months. The first part has practical value, girls in the mode of conditions as close as possible to real, learn how to provide first aid and how to behave in the event of an aircraft crash. In addition, future flight attendants learn their duties, which will need to be performed on board the aircraft.

The second part of the course is theoretical. Girls study types of aircraft (flights are carried out on various types aircraft), learn to establish contact with passengers.

At the end of the course, girls must pass an exam on special simulators, while receiving a grade of at least "four". In addition, experience in flights of at least thirty hours with an instructor is also required.

How much do courses for future flight attendants cost?

So, you already know what it takes to become a flight attendant. In Minsk, in Kyiv, in St. Petersburg, in Moscow or in another major city contact your local airline representative to inquire about open vacancies. By and large, there is always a demand for flight attendants, because if you have suitable external data, they will be interested in your candidacy.

Training costs about 30-40 thousand rubles, but the girls will pay for the training, working directly for the airline.

How much do flight attendants earn?

Of course, it all depends on the airline in which the flight attendant works. Luxury airlines pay girls in 2000 - 3000 dollars, but we are talking about global carriers. With us, if you work for a Russian or Ukrainian company, you can get 500-1000 dollars a month. However, most will agree that this is still quite a lot, given the average salary of a manager or accountant.

What does it take to become a flight attendant in Kazakhstan? There are no special rules that differ from the above, but the salary there is even less - 300-400 dollars.

Disadvantages in the work of flight attendants

Many girls want to become flight attendants because they want not only to earn money, but also to see other countries. In fact, everything is not so rosy. Most often, apart from a short walk in a foreign land, they have nothing from their travels. In addition, frequent flights do not contribute to the arrangement of personal life, because a young man or spouse is unlikely to tolerate the constant absence of his chosen one.

We must not forget about the constant stress on health. pressure drops, frequent change climatic and time zones are at first imperceptible, but after a few months the girl’s life rhythm is knocked down, problems with sleep begin, nervousness appears. It is believed that migraine and some nervous disorders are a professional "attribute" of flight attendants.

And the passengers who travel through the sky are far from being angels. Flight attendants complain about fairly frequent harassment from men, rudeness and, of course, a matter of chance, but who will protect a young girl on board? No one, only she herself must cope with the restless passenger, because this is part of her immediate task.

For this reason, flight attendants rarely stay in flight attendant positions for more than a year or two, and vacancies are often open. If you want to try your luck - try it!

The priority activity of the flying club "Aist" was the training of amateur pilots (private pilots) who want to get a PPL (Private Pilot License). The flight school conducts training on the Yak-18T training aircraft, which gave a ticket to the sky for more than one thousand Russian and foreign pilots.

Theory and practice of flight business

Flight Training Courses (FCTC) are held in two main stages: theoretical and practical training.

  1. The study of the theory of flight is conducted in Moscow, at the training base of our partners - the aviation training center "Wingspan". Previously, we taught theory ourselves, but faced with the fact that it is more convenient for our cadets to attend evening theoretical classes in Moscow in the middle of the week. Theoretical pilot training course includes the following subjects:
  • air legislation;
  • practical aerodynamics;
  • aircraft (AC) design;
  • aircraft navigation and navigation in the sky;
  • design power plant sun;
  • design of aviation and radio equipment;
  • technical and flight operation of aircraft;
  • rescue equipment, their use;
  • meteorology in aviation;
  • conducting and phraseology of radio communication;
  • aviation security and more. others
  1. The pilot school's initial flight training program is conducted at Beloomut Airfield with an experienced flight instructor. Students will acquire the following skills:
  • ground pre-flight training for amateur pilots;
  • primary piloting skills, first solo flight;
  • flight at critically low and high airspeeds;
  • exclusion of the spin effect in flight;
  • takeoffs and landings in normal conditions and in strong crosswinds;
  • stall recognition (initial and advanced) and exit from it;
  • takeoffs/landings on restricted areas;
  • instrument piloting training;
  • flight along the developed route according to visual landmarks, using dead reckoning methods and radio navigation aids;
  • simulated flight emergency: failure of the engine, on-board equipment, etc.;
  • night flights and more. others

The order and duration of training:

  1. The duration of the theoretical course is 172 hours (approximately four months). At the end of the training, students are tested and take exams in all theoretical disciplines.
  2. The estimated duration of flight training is 42 hours. For effective learning, development and support of piloting skills requires a regular flight of at least two hours a week. Otherwise, there will be no progress, and learning to fly an airplane and obtaining an amateur pilot license will be delayed indefinitely. After completing the course, examinations are held in piloting and piloting techniques.
  3. You can start performing training flights in Moscow at the same time as attending theoretical classes.
  4. With a positive passing of exams in theoretical and flight training, the documents of the accountant are transferred to working group High Qualification Commission federal agency air transport (Rosaviatsia) of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation (RG VKK).
  5. After passing the certification, the graduate will be awarded a certificate of an amateur pilot PPL (Private Pilot License). With this document, you have the right to fly private jets.

Cost of education

  • Payment full course training can be done in whole or in parts, in cash or by bank transfer.
  • The cost of the theoretical course of the pilot school is 36,000 rubles. If you missed a lesson, you can easily attend a similar lecture on another day in another group.
  • The average cost of a flight course is about 450,000 rubles. or 180 rubles/min. The final price depends on several factors, among which the individual psychophysiological characteristics of the accountant play a special role - the type of nervous system, the properties of temperament. However, practice shows that motivational features are still the main ones - interest in flying, the desire to learn, as well as perseverance in mastering educational material, the regularity of the raid. In a word, pilots are not born, but made. We will help you with this!

You need to send your application there, go through an interview and selection. Such courses are free of charge for candidates, except in cases of early termination of training, in which case the airline will have to pay the compensatory cost of the courses. Enrollment in courses involves the signing of an agreement, according to which the candidate undertakes to work for a certain number of years (usually 2-3 years) in a specified airline upon graduation. The duration of the courses is about three months. The school day lasts 6-8 hours. A scholarship is awarded to candidates for the duration of their studies. In Moscow, you can get a flight attendant course in such airlines as Aeroflot, Transaero, Siberia.

Another training option is attending paid courses, after which you do not need to be tied to working out the required number of labor hours in a particular airline. Upon completion of such paid education, you can get a job at any and change jobs at any time. Training in such courses is very intensive and takes a full day. The cost of a full course of study is from 30 to 50 thousand rubles.

In Moscow, paid courses in the specialty "" are conducted by the following institutions:
- School of conductors on the basis of the Moscow State technical university civil aviation;
- educational institution "Aviapersonal";
- educational institution "Jet Service".

Courses of study include the study of aviation theory, aircraft structure, psychology, in English, basics medical care as well as sports, styling and make-up training. Separately, the rules of behavior in emergency situations are studied and practiced in practice.

to girls applying for the position of stewardess

The requirements for candidates for specialty training are quite high and specific, especially in Moscow. These include:
- age from 18 to 35 years;
- height not less than 160 cm (such a requirement is justified by the need to reach the upper baggage pieces);
- good health;
- good level of knowledge of English;
- resistance to stress (the need for composure and clear thinking in life-threatening situations);
- well-delivered speech;
- friendliness;
- Possession of Russian citizenship.

Part 6 . Education.

At Aeroflot, this process is ongoing. I liked it. It is necessary to gain knowledge. Useful.

The initial training of Aeroflot personnel takes place at Sheremetyevo-1 at the TsPAP (Aviation Personnel Training Center). I want to note that the "loader" is not included in the list of aviation personnel positions (more on that below).
Basically, flight attendants are trained here. Lots of pretty girls :) In the morning bus 851, you can immediately see who is coming here.

The ASC is located behind a multi-storey car park, which, in turn, is located opposite Terminal C Sheremetyevo-1.

1. Sign in to the CAP. Immediately drew attention to the spelling of the word CENTER on the plate on the right. They have it written as CENTER

2. IL-62 on a pedestal in the lobby. The stairs down lead to the changing room and cafe.

3. At that time, stands about the history of Aeroflot were deployed. The Aeroflot Museum is located in the 6th building.

4. What struck me was the miserable posters from the times of the USSR. Old technology. And these posters teach. I was very surprised then.

5. Where is the emergency ax

6. Visual ground-to-air signals can be useful in life. But what if...?

7. Announcement in the lobby of the TsPAP about the "Aeroflot School". This is 2014, mind you.

8. Cafe in the basement of the CAP. You can eat quickly. I took water and Snickers with me.

9. Such leaflets are placed on the stand at the workplace in the baggage department of Terminal D.
The very first lesson. Two weeks of work at Aeroflot have passed.

10. Training starts at 09:30 and ends at 14:00-15:00. The longest session was until 15:30

11. Tuition is paid. This is a plus.

12. I took a thick diary with me and wrote everything down. Many didn't write anything down. Or dozed off.

13. There were also those who came to study after the night shift. Strange people. For some reason, it worked for me without going out after the night. The study and work schedule was balanced. If you are on the night today, then you could not go to school. Nobody needs heroism.

14. Whip. They scare, but in reality, rarely anyone was punished.

15. Computer for testing in the "dressing room" of the management's office. It was possible to look through the intranet - the internal network of Aeroflot. Some took tests here or prepared for them. Often the computer was the same as it is now, with a password.

16. Answer from the Federal Air Transport Agency that the loader of the baggage handling department is not aviation personnel.

After all these trainings, certificates are issued. Real. They lie somewhere with the chief engineer. If I had an interest in continuing aviation activities in another port, then the certificates would be handed over. Could be useful.
